A long time ago I saw a guide or thread regarding converting your CD's to PCM audio and authoring a DVD using scanned album covers as the menu linking to the audio tracks.
I have some experience in authoring DVD's but do not no where to start, can some one point me in the direction of a guide or give any pointers where I should start?

That should be pretty simple depending on your software. It would have to support inserting images and audio tracks on the timeline. Most will do that now.
Basically you would just have to have the audio in a format the editor can import. Import them onto the audio track. Imort your images onto the video track and increase the length of time they are viewable to match the audio track.
