I have an mpeg that was filmed with my digital camera, but it was filmed horizonal, therefore the picture plays side ways.
How do I shift the mpeg 90 degrees to make it play upright?

if it is in mpeg format -- you will have to re-encode it ..
an easy method is to load mpeg into v-dubmod and use the rotate filter and frame serve it back out to an encoder"Each problem that I solved became a rule which served afterwards to solve other problems." - Rene Descartes (1596-1650) -
or you could lie on the floor to watch it

virtualdubmod then frameserve to your encoder, eg tmpgenc.
use the tools link on the left to find the tools, and there's a guide for frameserving too."speed's just a question of money. How fast can you go?" - Mad Max, 1979
