    I have a corrupt Mpeg1. I plays fine with all the Video players including Womble editor. I cannot edit in tmpgenc Express and I cannot author it to a DVD. I usually have problems with downloads but can cut out the bad sections by runing them thru an editor and taking out the areas that freeze. I have never had this problem where things play perfectly yet won't edit. Any ideas

    Once you do load it into TMPGEnc, see if you can save it as an MPEG-1 file, it should get rid of any bad spots.
