Please help w/Lite On 832s problems

Hi All,
I just installed an OEM SOHW-832S on my PC that's running Win 2k SP4. I upgaraded the firmware after getting several "Illegal disc" error using Nero 6 and DVDDecryptor to burn movie image files I'd created with them. Now, I'm able to succefully burn the DVD-Rs (Princo) but they won't play on my Panasonic RV-31(they would play in the 832s) . I never had this problem w/the Cendyne DVD-RW burner I had, the Panasonic played all the movies I burned w/it. Any idea if a different brand of DVD-R would make a difference? Also, I tried burning a movie image to a new Memorex DVD-RW but got an illegal disc error even after the firmware upgrade. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Try replacing you media with any TY or ricohjpn01 +R media.
