What are the pro and cons of each machine?
The Panasonic E85 is around £430
The JVC DR30 is around £520
The Toshiba RDX32 is £390
Am undecided between the Panasonic and JVC.
What do you think?
Thanks,
David

Panasonic builds a nice machine for the money. They include the best built-in TBC I've ever seen and the macro-block filter is superb.

I have not tried the JVC, but I tested a Panasonic and Toshiba side by side. Feature for feature the latter wins hands down. I did not get the Toshiba, however, because of the 'black-level bug', but I think this is only an issue here in the USA.

I have the E80 love it never had one problem with it ever. JVC is very nice also. If you do not want a hard drive get JVC if you want a hard drive get Panasonic. Toshiba has a black level problem. I would stay away from them until newer model's come it should be fixed by then.
