Should I use something like BeSweet as an audio encoder or is the program itself fine as an encoder?
I tried to use a version of BeSweet that I had and it told me invalid AC-3 encoder. Any recommendations on what to do about the audio encoder?

BeSweet is fine for general encoding/convrsions, but for AC3, I'd suggest you use AC3 Machine. It uses the same engine, but seems to be much less flakey. Especially when changing 5.1 AC3 audio (example 5.1 PAL to 5.1 NTSC). There are a variety of freeware/open source AC3 encoding options out there. Check the CODECS section in TOOLS to your left.
