I'm new to using DVD Lab, and when I imported an mpeg file into the assets window, it asked me whether I wanted to demux it into video and audio. The guide said this is recommended, so I demuxed it. But after demuxing a 4 hour video, my audio is longer by 30seconds than the video file. I know the preview window doesn't allow audio, so is there a way for me to tell whether the audio and video will be out of sync without going through the entire authoring process and then testing it out on a DVD player. It seems like a HUGE deal of time just to test out the audio since there's no way to play it in DVD Lab.
And does the different audio/video durations happen frequently after demuxing a mpeg file? Seems odd.

I've never demuxed a 4 hour video, but everytime I demux an hour of video the resulting audio file is almost always 3 - 5 seconds longer. It has never created a problem with audio/video sync though.
If in doubt, burn to a RW and see what happens.
