I demuxed a MPEG (720x480, fps=29.97, ac3 audio) video clip using TMPGEnc. But the demuxed video was exactly twice as long the the audio. The audio has the same length as the original video clip. Please let me know what I have done wrong and how to fix it. Thanks.

Why do you think it's twice as long? Have you tried to play it?

Demuxed video is not meant to be a stand-alone media file.
Many players report incorrect lengths for demuxed video, but if you just play it, it will be the correct length.

The video clip has slight audio out of sync. So, I demux it and thinking I can re-align it in Womble MPEG edit. In Womble, I see the video it twice as long as the audio.

GSPOT tells 1 hr and AVICODEC tells 2 hrs. On original clip, both GSPOT and AVICODEC show 1 hr.
