  1. Hello,
    I have 2 problems:
    1) I have movies DivX that work fine with subtitle (sub & srt files) from CD on that player. If I move them on DVD (exactly the same files), the player is not able to use the subtitles... When I try to choose the subtitle file, I select it but when I push the Subtitle on remote, the hand appears (void opperation). Also the subtitle icons on the file are not present, but they are marked with "?". Only changing the media (from CD to DVD) does this???
    2) I have many small (5 minutes or less) avi files on the same DVD. I have to choose for each file the subtitle before playing the avi file...?!? It doesn't try to search the subtitle with the same name on file as avi... It's weird...
I hope that these problems will pe solved in a future version of firmware...
Does someone has a solution until then?
    Thanks

Hmmm... I use HP +R (4x)... written by plextor drive... I supposed that it is ok... Do you think that it is media problem? Or the player treats dvd-files in another manner than cd-files?

  4. Did you finalized the DVD? The player works better with finalized disks.

I burnt a movie with .srt subtitles on a DVD-R with Nero in DVD-ISO mode and the subs worked just fine. My brother burnt the same exact movie with Easy CD Creator in UDF mode (he said he finalized it) and not only did a take forever to load up it couldn't read the subtitle file, there was a question mark icon beside it. MY DVD burner is an LG and I use Ritek media, my brother's burner is an Asus and he used Maxell.
