  1. I want to keep all the trailers for my DVDs on my hard disc drive and have started to rip them from my DVDs, however I am finding it difficult to locate them. Once found I rip using DVD Decrypter and use the VOB with zoomplayer, it all works fine. Is there a tool or method that will allow me to play a DVD as normal but to see which VOB it is playing? Steve

  2. The method I use is I navigate to and play the trailer in question using my dvd player software and take note of the running time.

Then go into DVD Decrypter and hit the I key to start up IFO Mode, and look for the PGC that corresponds to that total running time. From there you can demux into elementary streams or do a direct stream copy.

This works most of the time. Others may have better methods

Yes DVD Shrink Version 3.2 is most current. Great tool and my number one tool for doing most of My DVD work.

  4. I use WinDVD to locate the track the trailer is on. Then use DVDShrink in the re-author mode, drag the track to the left and then click Back-up.
Use can also use DVDShrink to locate the track, but if there are a lot of tracks it can be time consuming.

    DVDShrink seems easier for me.
Just drag your trailers and note the chapter each is.

On play back, look at the chapter display on the player or TV

I use IFOEdit's DVD Player function.
    If in doubt, Google it.
