    VCD about 1374 kbps
    DVD about 4500 kbps

    what about avi dvdrip using xvid with 192 audio

    You'd really have to try a few settings on a few samples and see if the quality meets your expectations. The runtime of the file will play some part in what you can set the bitrate too also.
