I recently was fired from Technicolor - Hollywood after 11 yrs of service. I played a personal DVD for a friend on a company computer that evidently had a "high security " title on it.
Before I knew what happened - the vice president was up my ass with a pink slip.
The studios are coming down hard on all thier vendors because of internet piracy. They say thier losing 10 billion a year! I was made an example.
Total Crap!-- Hey!...the greatest thing to happen to me...I hated that job!!

Sorry to hear that. Really sorry. I'll bet you're not a big Jack Valenti fan :P
The bright side - you hated the job anyways.
Best of luck -

Im curious to know what movie this was that made such a big fuss. So did the Television/Computer/Monitor said "High security" and that got you fired for showing a movie to a friend? Was it a movie that was like, unreleased and stuff? Details boy, give us more details. -

A friend of mine had a sign in his office:
"The beatings will continue till the morale improves"
(Still gives me a chuckle...) Glad to hear you've made the best of it. -
