I am trying to convert captured DV in AVI format into mpeg1 for vcd use. I want to know what the best settings in TMPGENC are in order to create the maximum quality VCD with respects to file size and time. I would like to get 35-40 minutes or more on each cd-r. I would also like the conversion process to take less than 6 hours! Any suggestions would be great!!

Dl my template
You want 35-40 min on each cdr so use standard svcd when reading my template
also, less than 6 hrs, set motion search precision to normal
set dc precision to 10 bits, should do it
