  1. I keep getting the following error message when i try to burn to a dvd-r: "Power Calibration Area is Full", the message comes up while the lead in is being written

I've tried using various programs and I'm trying to burn image files (.img, I have tried numerous ones, so its not the file)

I'm also wondering what asapi is? is it necessary to get it and will it help with my problems?

I've already coastered 3 discs so I'm hesitant to try anymore without getting this issue cleared up

thanks to anyone who can help out

The power calibration area of a DVD is very unlikely to be filled up. Sounds like a problem with your DVD burner. You might try some different brands of media. Very unusual problem.

For ASPI, check the 'Glossary', then the 'Tools' section. Do a search for 'aspi'. Force Aspi is popular.
