Usually it is a compatibility issue between your burner and the disc, or a quality issue with the disc.

What barnd of DL media are you using ?

Try some Verbatim DL + and you may get better results.

I don't really understand it either. Verbatim apparently got the right combination and no one has seemingly been able to duplicate it. Some members have great luck with other brands. That may depend on the burner and the burning program to some extent. ImgBurn seems to be the best program to burn with at present with any burner.

All the DL discs are expensive, but I stick to Verbatim which may cost a bit more initially but I have avoided 'coasters' so far and the cost of wasted discs makes Verbatim the best bargain, IMO.

Still, try a few Verbatim DL +'s and if that solves your problem, they may be worth it to you.
