I have a problem with my new Ace video codec. It flips the picture when I try to convert Divx Avi's with Mainconcept Mpeg Encoder.
I have found that I can convert the non-flipped original picture IF DirectVobSub and the file is loaded while converting BUT it is slow as hell (Divx to DVD approx. 5 hours).
So now I have tried to find a DirectVobSub for manual loading, so I could load it (hopefully without the file) while converting the file but I have failed finding any manual loader for DirectVobSub.
I have tried to set preference in DirectVobSub to Flipped vertically as standard but the file is still flipped after conversion.

Any surgestions?? The only files with the problem is the Divx.
I shall love the one with the solution until the end of days .... as I have nearly 70 Gb ready for conversion.

Have you tried using Virtualdub to frameserve into MC? You can open the clip in Vrtualdub and set it up to frameserve. If you need to, you can use one of it's filters to flip the clip upright.
Got my retirement plans all set. Looks like I only have to work another 5 years after I die........

LoooL Problem is solved and very simple none the less.
In Mainconcept Mpeg Enc. click "Details" --> "Crop and scale" ---> check "Flip Image Vertically"

In Mainconcept there's a solution to every problem. Now I know even more why I love the Mainconcept encoder

  6. That picture flipping glitch is caused by a codec conflict. It literally does matter what order you install certain codecs. I had this problem once and uninstalled all my codecs and then reinstalled only the ones that really mattered to me. But that was years ago when I used retarded codec packs like the Nimo one. I have three video codecs. Panasonic DV, DivX 5.1.1 and XviD latest build. That's it.
