Cyberhome 402- Wont read DVD+R?? Cant flash to DD20

Hey All,

Was it just a flip of the coin if the US based CH-402 could flash to the DD20 firmware???

Mine currently has no version number on the regular setup screen.
I have tried to flash 3 different times with DD20 (tweaking the NERO burning process ever so slightly each time) to no avail.

It reads the disk and then comes up with the file management screen and I belieive the words Normal and Play at the bottom....

AM I just screwed out of playing DVD+R's??

even a " ther is no way in hell that will work" will be a data point and give me something to go on...

Has anyone flashed the amercan version up toDD20?

Same thing happens on mine when I try to do the firmware upgrade. I don't try DVD+R's though. I've only tried DVD-R's for which only CBR has worked so far. They are good media though (TYG01). I don't know if my dvd player needs a firmware upgrade or if my dvd writer needs one. At any rate, I am sorry, but I don't really have a solution.
