  1. Hi there

    1) I have a question about miniDVD - Dvd burned on a normal CD. I'm making a DVD and it's about 400Mb - So I decided to burn it on a normal CD - The thing is - that the dvd plays great on my computer using PowerDVD but on my player and another player I tested it on - the movies are not playing seamlessly and the music is cutting every 2 seconds. I burned it in X8 speed (Which is the slowest writing speed I have) and still the music cuts off every few seconds!
Is my problem the miniDVD? And if I burn it on normal DVD will it work better? The mpeg files are VBR7000 with standard GOP settings.

    2) I'm making the menu in Photoshop and I'm using the resulotion 720X540 - although my project is PAL - This is the size DVDLab can handle! And also I'm making a black border so the menu won't get out of the Title safe Zone. The TV cuts the black border. Still my project doesn't look good! It is flickering and doesn't look at all like the photoshop file I made!

What is the resolution you're working with DVD-Lab? Maybe my problem is the frame size? Also - Is there anything I can do to the photoshop file before I import it to dvd-lab so it will work better?

    Thanks a lot in advanced!

U mean the Reduce Jitter option? Yeah - I'm using that option. Maybe it's because I'm burning the menu on a normal CD-RW?

The thing is - I saw somewhere in the site - some1 talked about flickering and he said to use filters like motion blur and sharpen in photoshop - I did that - But - still the menu looks flickering - and when I watch the DVD in the computer it doesn't look good too - It's not sharp enough.

I know that when u watch a DVD in the computer it looks worst then when u watch it in a DVD Player... But still maybe there's something to do in photoshop.

Baldrick - Thanks - I'm going to burn it on a normal DVD-RW
