Hi,
Does anyone knows whether it is possible to encode the audio track from a VIDEO_TS folder to a single MP3 file, whitout encoding the movie (I just want the audio track).
I tried selecting "passthrough (ffmpeg)", disabling "encode video" and selecting MP3 in audio, but the terminal sends an error "VIDEO_TS format not recognized".
Howeevr it works fine if I encode the video in XVID too...
Any idea ?
Thanks !

You can use 0SEx to extract elementary streams (so you will obtain the audio track as a separate file), then convert it to mp3 (eg by using mp3 preset in ffmpegX).

Bump. 0SEx only seems to open mounted DVDs, not video_ts files. I'm having the same problem with ffmpegx that this fellow is. I only have access to a mac, so I can't use windows options. Am I screwed?
