Svcd on dvd with selectable subs

Hello,

Normally I convert avi to svcd and hardcore encode subs in the movie. I make it svcd with hardcore subs because my dvd player can't play selectable svcd subs.
Recently I started making dvd's with 2 or 3 svcd's on em. Now my question is, is it possible to make subs selectable on svcd's when I burn em on a dvd? Or is it the same as when I make selectable subs for svcd's normally?

you could try dvd-lab pro and add switchable subs or dvdauthorgui. it may work fine on some dvd players. if not you must probably reconvert to compliant dvd.

I use dvd lab pro.... but where do I find settings for adding switchable subs?
