Been playing with MeGUI and have it almost doing what I want but have yet to get subtitles to work. What I want is when archiving a DVD to my Media Server to rip from the Vob two languages of subtitles and include with MP4/MKV file stored on the Server.
I don't want to hard code the subs, but rather keep them 'soft' so that you can select which sub stream you want when viewing. A friend gave me a couple of blueray rips that he created which work fine so I know that the containers support this - only problem is how to easily go from the Vob to the MP4/MKV file (obtaining the higher compression of H.264).
Does anyone know if this is possible and if it is, how to achieve this?
