Another girlfriend RANT

Long story short...we were having a good day, ate some good food, watched a good movie, sat down and enjoyed some TV, snacks and played with our overly energetic dog. As the night went on, she got a bit of a tummy ache...and laid down, nothing too serious. As she was falling asleep in front of the TV I came online to have a little fun. THEN...outta the blue "By the way, what's going on with my computer? Did you figure out if it's the router? Did you get an answer from Buffalo? You know my computer is just sitting there. Should "I" call the company tomorrow?"

Of course, I went into self-defence mode. "Where did this come from, why are you complaining to me at 12 midnight!?"

AND...the "...I'm not complaining, I'm just saying..." sentence came into play.

Anyway, the vodka is out...and so is she!! I'm gonna try to forget these past few minutes.

Dude...you have the classic "center of attention" chick. That's your own fault.

Her "tummy" hurt. She wanted you to be sympathetic and baby her. You should have babied her, then gave her some and she would have went to sleep and you could have had fun on your computer with out hassle of her voice.

I'll have to explain the whole "mark" system in a topic one day. It is the path to true happiness and zero bitchness.

I heard Bill was going to create a box you can interface with your TV that will have subliminal messaging that you program from your Windows Anti_Nagware application suite. They say after a week of the Windows Anti_Nagware viewing that your significant other will be more receptive, obediant and submissive ....

As long as she's clean...

I remember being in a relationship like that once upon a time. Actually lived with her for a while as well. You can ignore those comments completely but after a while she'll see that as ignoring her completely. At the same time if it's a constant thing you should just talk to her about it. The relationship can't go on with her riding you (in the verbal way) all the time.

Always pause for two seconds before responding. it has two great effects

1)
She thinks you're listening to what you are saying and considering the best response. this shows you give a damn, even when you don't.

2)
this is long enough for your brain to plot the quickest route between that moment and your next shag. suddenly you will appear suave, charming and seductive.
