Well, I'm pretty sure the buzznet is not him either. That same sushi pic is on another site for photographers, and based on teegee entries there, I'm fairly certain it's someone else.

The afterdawn site is definately our teegee, but he quit posting there the same time. I might register for the site, and ask around, and scour his old posts looking for additional clues.

That's really a mystery. You remember when Shocker left - he posted here and let everybody know why he was leaving. We all wished him well, and he was gone. But just stopping like that after being such a fixture That's what bothers me. I just hope he didn't come into harm's way somehow. I wouldn't want to see anyone here end up like that.

Yeah. I hope teegee is OK. There was a real nice guy over at avsforum.com named Arun Gupta that was a Samsung DLP enthusiast and posted large amounts of valuable info about them. One day, he just vanished from the forum. Turns out he was killed - hit by a car while riding his bike. Really tragic.

Reminds me of a story. Met this chick in Cancun who was from Vancouver.
We talked on the phone for months. One night she called me all fucked up saying she just took a bunch of pills and wanted to end it. She started fading so I was concerned. Now,try to call 911 in Canada from the states. Impossible! Fucked around for about 15 minutes trying to reach any police in Van. I kept getting recordings,etc. Called 911 locally but they couldnt help. I finally remembered she had left her parent's number on my machine earlier in the week. Had to call them with a"you dont know me but..." They got her to the er and saved her. About a year later she finally did her self in.
