I encoded .m2v & .mp2 using TMPGEnc. The .avi that I used was out of sync about .6 seconds throughout. However, at the time I misjudged and estimated .2 seconds throughout. Now, I have an .m2v video file that is about .4 seconds AHEAD of the .mp2 audio file. Is there any way for me to alter the .mp2 file so that it can be synched with the video file without having to reencode? How do I do it with the program Audacity?
