  1. I have 2 MPEG files both MPEG-2 PAL (480x576). I can load both files into PowerDVD and play them perfectly. However, the first MPEG file in the series will not load into any other app (i.e. TMPGEnc, MediaPlayer etc.) so,

    Why is this?

How do I get the first file loaded into TMPGEnc or Media Player?

    Someone please help.

Since the idea is simply to load it, try AviSynth. Once it is properly loaded it on your system, write a simple script to open the MPEG file and load the script into TMPGEnc Plus!

  3. OK

I have AVISynth already installed on my pc. I created a script to load the mpeg-2 file but I get

    Direct Show source
"ClassFactory cannot supply requested class" error for both video and audio.

    I have Direct 9.0b, AVISynth 2.5.4, TMPGEnc Plus 2.58.44.152

Can it be loaded into Virtual Dub mod? If so, maybe it will frameserve into TMPGEnc Plus!.
