    Hi all..

    I have a Sharp VL-E34U 8mm camcorder and I was wondering if it's possible to playback Hi8 tapes in it. Or will it just play back Standard 8mm tapes? I have searched everywhere and can't find any answers.

    From everything i've read

    D8 will read D8, Hi8 and 8mm
    Hi8 will read Hi8 and 8mm
    and 8mm will only read 8mm
