Hello all, I have an img file of a DVD. I tried to burn it directly with decryptor but when it was finished it wouldnt play on my DVD player(which plays everything I throw at it). So I tried to open the file in Shrink but I get a "invalid dvd navigation structure" error. What can I do to salvage this file? Any help appreciated, TIA.

  2. Make an attempt to mount it on a virtual drive using Daemon Tools to see what's actually in that image.

how did you create the IMG file in the first place?

you would have to extract the files and then run them through Ifoedit and it may just correct the structure by updating the IFO files

it would be far simpler to rip the original again

Freestyler, I did put the image in daemon and I was able to play it in winDVD. The movie looks fine in winDVD.

MackemX, I dont have access to the DVD anymore. What shoudl I use to extract the files from a img file. Im going to get ifoedit right now.

Thanks much for your help guys.

  5. You should be able to rip it (either the image in daemon tools or the DVD you already burned) in file mode using DVD Decrypter. Then use IFO Edit to see if you can correct it... or maybe DVD Shrink to creat a new image for burning.

Ok, I used ISOBuster to extract the Video and Audio folders. I opened them up in IfoEdit but Im not sure how to go about fixing them. It says 2 of 3 video streams are not rendering correctly. I also tried to open them in Shrink but it still gives me the same error.
