I have obtained a dvd recording that has a very important program on it, but the picture is very noisy.
So.........., I am putting the dvd player through my advc300 and getting a much better picture using the filters, but guess what!!, the audio is out of synch even though the advc has audio locked!
Help!!!

You'd probably have better success by ripping the DVD to your computer, demuxing the VOB and running the MPEG2 video through some kind of filters.
You might even need to go as far as converting it to AVI and working with it from there.
After you get the video the way you want it, re-author with all the pieces and hopefully al will go well. -
hey thanks, have fixed the problem, just needed to restart the picture controller software, as usual though more questions!
I have removed the fuzzy, but am getting a sort of "Looking through plastic wrap look" sort of shimmery, I think thats over doing the sharpness adjustment?, any ideas-big thanks.
