Here's a test I did
I encoded 1 min of NTSC TV (29.97) in both Huffy and Morgam MJPEG
When I encoded both to XviD (2-Pass), I noticed a performance difference.
Encoding speeds are as follows:
XviD encoded the Huffy Capture at 20-30 FPS (Almost Realtime, it took 1:15s to encode each pass.)
XviD encoded the MJPEG Capture at 35-45 FPS (WAY faster than realtime. Took an about 30-38s to encode each pass)
I know many individuals that have been able to encode at 50-60 FPS. How can I achieve this?
