I'm trying to upload some of my video captures of video games and they have been captured at 720p using the Monster X capture card. They are at 59.94fps and around 8MB/sec and I would like to encode them using H264 and end up with small files but still hold good quality like 720p videos on gametrailers or ign. How are they doing it, and how can I end up with small size files that still play good and look excellent.
I believe they are doing like 1280x720 at 60fps and file sizes around .3-.4 MB/sec.
Thanks

Either my internet connection or their server would not permit real time playback. I had to download the file.
They are encoding to wmv at 1280x720p/30fps at a bitrate around 3.4Mb/s (192Kb/s audio) which is close to default encoder setting for 720p/30 wmv.
Results look good to me. Water textures look blocky but that is typical.
