I am trying to make a dvd of little 10-30 movies and I am trying to put them on one dvd. I would like to make each clip a chapter but when I use I movie it wants me to use Idvd. I have an extenal burner and I dont believe that Idvd works without the superdrive. what program would I need to make my chapters and be able to burn with toast? Thanks.

Add the clips in sequence to your iMovie timeline. Then click the iDVD button in iMovie. This gives you the option to place chapter markers. You don't need to send the project to iDVD. After marking the chapters, save your iMovie project. Now open Toast 6 and drag the .mov file from the iMovie Project folder to the Toast Video tab. Toast will include the chapter markers you set in iMovie with the authored and burned DVD.
An alternative is to save each clip as its own iMovie project. Drag each of the .mov files to the Toast Video tab and arrange in the order you want. Choose Auto-Play Items from the settings bar and burn the DVD. Your DVD will play as a continuous movie but you'll also have the option to choose individual clips as separate titles in the Title menu.
