    I have some mpegs that I downloaded and I'm trying to burn them as a VCD in Nero. I'm getting the following encoding problem:

    -stream encoding which is invalid for [Super] Video-CD
    -no audio
    -no video

    Is there anything that I can change to get these files VCD compatible? They play just fine under Media Player, just can't get them converted.

    It sounds like you are attempting to create a Super VideoCD and not only that but a non-standard file as well, what I would suggest you do, is get TMPGEnc and first encode the file using an appropriate Template to a Standard VideoCD or SuperVCD and then try playing them back and see if they still work, and if you are satisfied, try to burn it again.
