Hi, I've edit one of my movies, know i want ot put it back to Dual Layer DVD.

I've haven't adjust the quality of the DVD is it's still 7.4B. So I bought a Verbatim DVD-R DL to burn it but Nero won't recognise it & Image Burn says that there is no layer break. So I've come across PGCEdit that will allow me to create a layer break. But before i can even get to that step it's gives me warning that the movie is too big, says the movie is 57GB??

    Please see image attached...

is your entire "my documents" folder being included as part of the source? it appears to be the problem to me..

You should try putting the video_ts folder within empty folder. PGCedit is probably reading every file that the video_ts folder is in when trying to make the iso.

    Thanks for the feedback.

    ripped it with DVD Decrypter
    demuxed it with DGMPGDec
converted the AC3 to Wav with HeadAC3he.
I edited the wav with Premiere Pro.
Mux it back together with ifoEdit.

and that leaves me with a VIDEO_TS without a layer break.
So I'm trying to insert one with PGCedit & burn it. Will try place the folder in my root before hand & see if it fixes the size issue.

ImgBurn will set a layer brake. It will give you choice where to install one.
Do not use NERO to do that, it is not reliable.

    Hey tinker,

Shot for the heads up. I tried ImgBurn, didn't give me the choice though, just stated that there wasn't one & sugguested where one should be.

It has an feature where you can insert one but after I've done this it either says
"Cannot set layer break position when burning DVD-R DL"
    or it says
"Optimal L1 Data Zone Start LBA: none found (VTS_01)

    Weapon-X,

Switch to +R DL discs; preferably Verbatim's.

  9. Weapon-X,
You need to use DVD files in build mode to set the layer break,4.7GB+ files will not work properly in write mode.
    I also recommend DVD+R DL.

    Thanks everyone for your responses.

I went ahead & tried to burn on my DVD-R DL risking making a coaster of it. Good news is it worked none the less, plays perfectly on my PC, must still try on a stand alone DVD player.
