Why does TMPGEnc not accept audio files encoded by BeSweet![]()
I am trying mux my encoded video file with my new audio file and TMPGEnc gives me an illegal audio error.![]()
So then I said "I don't need to mux them together to authorize to DVD"
DVDLab will not accept BeSweet ecoded audio files either.
Do I need a plug in for TMPGEnc to accept my encoded audio for muxing??
All tuts I have read, all of them unput BeSweet encoded audio files in TMPGEnc.

Hello,
There are two options ( I had the same problem). Some one told me to use a program called beslice (or besplit, can't remember). But what worked for me was to input the file besweet made into tmpgenc.
Go to main page of tmpgenc, load dvd template (audio only). Select 48khz, then name the output, then process. You'll get another file so make sure you have space.
I could explain a little clearer when I'm at home this weekend if you want, its been a little while since I've done it. This basically "wraps" it into a tmpgenc compliant file.

Hope this helps, I can give more detail later if you need it.Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw? -
Thanks Ill try anything. Get back to me when you get home.
Wouldn't that be encoding it twice? -
Hello,
Yes it is. But if you try looking for besplit or becrop or whatever I said it could be quicker. The reencoding method worked for me. When I get home I'll write the steps down in a clearer order for you.

Hello,
Here's the steps for "remuxing" a .mp2 file from besweet.
In tmpgenc (main page) select load (down on the bottom next to the input slots on the main page), choose dvd (ntsc or pal, your region).
Then select stream type (the options to the right of the input section on the bottom of the screen). Choose ES (audio only).
For the input use your .mp2 file from besweet. For your output file make it "something-new.mp2".
Then process.
I'm not sure if this will work with ac3 files from besweet but many dvd players will work with mpeg audio. My old sony dvd player does and it doesn't like cd-rs, vcd, svcd (it only likes dvds and dvd-r and dvd+r).
There you have it. The new "reprocessed" .mp2 audio file will work beautifully. It's a pain but it's a way around it. Don't forget to try besplit.
