Looking for software for JVC

Sorry this is the second time I've used these forums looking for the name of software, but I guess alot of my problems end up in that. Anyway, I need the name of the software for capturing video from a JVC GRDVL camcorder, can anyone help me out?

There are many others also.
Many editing program can also transfer the video for you, i.e. Premiere, Ulead Videostudio, etc.
Did the JVC come with any software?

is this a miniDV camcorder with firewire/iLink?

if so, Windows Movie Maker software should recognize it the minute it is connected to your PC

Thanks for the names, it's one of those cases where we've actually had the thing for a while and we lost everything for it, sides the connection which im pretty sure is firewire. I went to the JVC website and found all "updates" for software they told me nothing about lol.
