Hi, Well im looking to do some serios vidos, like short films and music videos, so im trying to find the right camera to work with, So im undiceded about this 3 camcorders and i will really appriciate if you guys can help me out chossing the best one, quiality is the most important thing for me... so here we go

No.1 - Canon HG10 (its seems simple, but powerfull)

No.2 - JVC GZ HD7 Everio (Really Likes how it looks)

No.3 - JVC GR HD1 (Looks like a Profesional Camera, really love the design)

Choice in that price range comes down to Canon HV20 with the JVC GZ HD7 Everio a possible second choice. The GZ HD7 Everio looks good in the specs but the low res sensors seem to come up short vs. the HV20 in real world shootouts.

JVC keeps trying to make a good 3 sensor low end cam but the HV20 looks much better (picture and features) especially as price drops take it down to ~$800. I chose the HV20.

The JVC GR HD1 was the first consumer HDV camcorder introduced in 2003 and is only available used. It comes nowhere close to the more recent HV20 for features or picture quality. The Sony FX1 was the first prosumer HDV camcorder. It is still considered useful. Other good Sony HDV models are the FX7, HVR-A1, HC1 and HC7.

Thanks sounds pretty fair, Now i dont like that the HV20 uses cassettes, but so you still think i Should get the HV20 over the HG10 ?

The HG10 shares a similar camera system with the HV20 but has the disadvantages of the AVCHD format. See the other thread and the camcorderinfo shoot out review.
