I own a Hauppauge video capture card, and it was ok for experiment purposes, but now that I think I understand a little more of the proccess of video capture, I want to purchase a better one without having to mortgage my house to do it!![]()
I need advice from you guys, what card is a good one for having a good video capture?
Thanks in advance.

Canopus ADVC-100, -50, or -1394 depending on how serious you are.

I too have an analog capture device (ADSTech vs your Happauge) .... and I wanted some better quality. Found out that I could run analog thru camcorder (built in TBC) and then out thru DV (A/V --> DV) (DV in on computer via 1394)
Works awesome.... video capture seems a tad crisper than directly into PC via MPEG Hware encoder. -
