  1. i have a dvd thats about 7.5 GB. i want all of it since the special features are vital and for many other reasons. if i shrink this all to one 4.4 gb dvd, im guessing it'll look horrible. so if there any way to split this nicely across two disks? is there any other workaround or solutions?

    you would be surprised it wont look "horrbile"
    only way to split a dvd on a mac is to do the video portion only.
    and then take the extras and reauthor them onto a disk you can burn

    just give it a try with the compression, you will be really surprised how good it looks

  3. for using dvd2onex to make this fit to on dvd, would you recommened variable or constant mode?

    its about 7.5 gigs going to 4.5 gb.

    i use variable
    unless the running time is over 2 hours. Like for a movie thats almost 3 hours [lord of the rings] i would use contstant

    otherwise, a normal dvd i use variable
