ok, i have a small question about TMPGEnc DVD Author. i have import all the movies i want into it, made a menu, and finished the output. so now, i have the DVD writing tool open, and it says size 1.7 Gbyte, now is that just the menu? if it is, where do i put the videos into, and what do i do if its too big? and if not, will the DVD still work if it has that much empty space?

  2. If you've imported the movies into the tracks, created a menu and outputted to a DVD folder, then the 1.7 GB represents everything, videos and menus. And yes, you can burn 1.7GB as a DVD and it should work fine.

What type of files did you import into TMPGEnc DVD Author? Were they mpg2 files?
