i have the CD Stomper kit. I ran out of the matte type labels and was thinking about getting the glossy ones. The picture should be better on the glossy ones but do they stick well on the dvd? Any advantages of using the glossy ones over the matte? thanks

There's a humongous thread about labels vs no labels, so go there for that. As for glossy labels, I use them and they look great and have no problems sticking. They're as sticky as matte or regular labels.

  6. I use the CD stomper labels with no problems. You do get better results with the glossy, but, the glossy labels are thinner and you can see the disk's silkscreened logos through them. If your disks have no logos, you're in good shape.
If it works, don't fix it.

Has anyone used the generic CD stomper labels on Ebay? They have 50 glossy labels for $4.99.

I got myself some and they are barely what would be considered glossy. I used to get the glossy neato and got the glossy cd stomper and they've been ok. The quality isn't as good but they still do the job alright and they seem to fit cds and dvdrs a little bit better than the neato ones.

Is there a free program out to print on the neato labels since those are positioned different than the CD Stomper?

I use the Neato mediaface software, free from neato.com or download.com. It has templates for all their labels.
