you can play it with powerdvd or windvd or videolan. just choose to play a dvd from the hd and open the video_ts.ifo file. www.videohelp.com/play#dvd

if you want to make it smaller convert to divx or xvid with autogk or simpledivx or fairuse 0.44

    Hello,
There is no conversion needed. Just use your dvd playing software (powerdvd, zoom player, etc) and open the video_ts.ifo {I believ} file and play it. The vobs inside the folder are the actual movie. The player will read the vobs on the hard drive.

P.S. The software should read the main file for the dvd so it will play all of it. As a last resort you can play the individual vobs, though it won't be continous. Also you may need to select "open dvd files" or some such language instead of the media files selection of your particular dvd software.
