In the past I always used SCLive to capture my DV videos for the best quality video without regard to file size (I got plenty of HD space)
Has anyone ever compared the quality of SCLive versus Premiere Pro 1.5?
I have started doing wedding videos and I am looking for the best quality capture possible.
Whadayathink?
thanks!

I have both, and it doesnt really matter as much what prog you use to capture the video with.....it all depends on the quality of the video that was originally recorded. If the source of the video was DV, than all that you are doing is transferring the video data to the hard drive, so nothing will change as far as quality goes. Analog can be a different story depending on what equipment was used. The quality of the source is the main factor of your video. As the old tried-and true says, GIGO (Garbage In/Garbage Out).
