This is weird. I have 3 AVIs that belongs to the same series. When I play the first AVI in Vdub and VdubMOD, it plays fine. For the other 2 AVIs, it displays this message when I click to play it:

"No audio decompressor could be found to decompress the source audio format."

I checked in GSpot and it says I have 3 compatible audio codecs installed. All of the AVIs play fine in Windows Media Player. I also noticed some differences when I open the files' statistics in VdubMOD.

First One:
Audio Stream Compression: MPEG Layer-3 Codec (professional)
Audio Stream Layout: 8 chunks (0.50s preload)
Audio Tag: 0x0055, ACM Decodable MPEG-1 Layer 3 (MP3)

The Rest:
Audio Stream Compression: Unknown (tag 0055)
Audio Stream Layout: 25 chunks (0.00s preload)
Audio Tag: 0x0055, Decodable MPEG-1 Layer 3 (MP3)

Is there a way to make the audio work in Vdub? I've tried to demux the WAV and saving the WAV in VdubMOD. I disabled the MP3 stream and then added the WAV. But it will play with no sound. I tried replacing that WAV stream with an MP2 stream I got by converting the audio using TMPGEnc. Again, no sound. Please help!
