  1. I captured some episodes of that 70's show from TV, to burn them onto DVD. I burn them 5 per disc with nero express, they are in AVI format and about 65 mb each. when I burn them they are fine but the lip sync is all out,

Is this a problem caused by multiple title burning or a problem wit my DVD player, as I hav authored other DVD's and they have run fine. what can i do to resolvbe this?

Don't use nero to convert your avi's, use it for burning only. Go to the green "all guides" section over there <-<-<- and look up TMPGEnc. It's a much better mpeg encoder.

  3. are you sure it's an encoding problem? as i have encoded 2 other avi files which were much larger, through nero express and they worked fine.

sorry if I'm being a bit dumb but I'm pretty new to this whole thing and i was told that nero express would be able to do everything, from encoding to burning. If it doesn't then I have been sevearly ripped off

I didn't say that nero wouldn't work, it just works crappy. If you are converting avi's that you downloaded, then they frequently have bad frames and you need to remove them. See my link below. If you were using TMPGEnc then I would tell you to strip the audio from your avi to a wav file using Virtualdub and use the wav file as the audio source when you encode.
