please read in problem with mpeg, or mpeg1 in Easy cd Creato

After i take the file and put it through Easy CD creator
mpg, or mpeg1 everything works out fine EZ cd adds the files it need to play on DVD player it plays on my computer
but it wont play on my pioneer d343 but if i take the file convert to dat or avi then convert back to mpeg1, or 2
then burn it the dvd player will play. and some movies that i extract are already in vcd format and if i burn those like they are all i get on the dvd player is VCD CD
is there a special setting to play these types on my pioneer D343 thanks for the help

Tony, just a suggestion but check your burner on this site compatsbility list to see if it is even able to play burnable media (CD-R/RW)
