dvd splitting and reforming help please?????????

my mates having a birthday party based on the oscars.he wants the best clips from his favorate dvd`s cut out and placed onto a single dvd so it can be projected to a srceen.

anyone know how to do this,could you please let me know or point me in the right direction,as i said i may be able to do this for him.

i need to know the most user freindly ang quikest way (if possable) please

first you need to rip the video using one of the dvd-ripping tools available... then edit it with an editing tool (also in the tools section here) and finallt compose the dvd with a program to your choice - i use dvd workshop ...
look for a guide if you want more specific instructions...
