I frequently find SVCD bin/cue releases that don't seem to play properly in WinDVD or my DVD player. However, I can play the MPG directly using Daemon Tools.
To burn them I have to rip the MPG from the BIN/CUE; scan it; and then re-author the SVCD using VCD Easy. This process is somewhat tedious considering I would expect the original BIN/CUE should play. Am I missing something? Why are they released this way?
I noticed that the non-working version doesn't have a SEGMENT directory and the VCD Easy version has an empty SEGMENT directory.
Thanks,
H
