  1. For a couple of years I've been capturing with my Philips DVDR standalone recorder and transferring the VOBs to my PC. I then use Chopper XP, MPEG2CUT to cut my VOBs up. I've recently used Vstrip to get my VOBs to 1 gig sizes and then use IFOedit to make the IFO's. So far so good. However, these files aren't recognised by Recordnow Max or Nero's DVD-Video template. I usually burn using the DVD-UDF option. Sometimes I am able to run the resulting VOBs through DVD2One which then makes them compliant but other times DVD2One brings up this error "logical block number does not match with the actual position in the file". DVDshrink also gives a similar fault.

I would like to know if there is a program I can load each VOB into that makes them compliant ?

    Thanks

    Hello,
Here's an idea, why don't you demux the vobs and start over? It may take more time but if you strip the .m2v and ac3 with tmpgenc then you can load them into other programs. Speaking of tmpgenc, tmpgenc dvd author will read vob files. That may be a better alternative. Just reauthor the video with tda. Good luck.

The only problem is that it won't read the AC3 audio and I've got the AC3 plugin installed.

    Hello,
You could try to remux the audio to mp2 using regular tmpgenc. TDA should recognize that. And since your using the source audio synching shouldn't be an issue. Good luck.
