When i convert an avi/divx movie to m2v with TMPGenc it stucks at 96%
with the message "stream writing error".
Does anybody know what the problem could be?
The VFAPI plugins are set right!

Probably bad frames in the Xvid/DivX file. Run it through these first:
DivX Repair :

Avi Fixed:

Maybe you have this error because your file is bigger than 4 Gb on a FAT32 partition.

I also had "stream writing error" happen to me twice with different movies. I wanted to DVD-->SVCD. They both happened when I was using VBR and Batching encoding. I didn't want to start over again with the long encoding time, so I switched to CBR with batch encoding. No error this time; I think it may have something to do with it.Originally Posted by Jesprulin
