I have just started converting my momories from Hi8 to dvd. For the time being I am using Adobe premiere (6.0) for cutting the unwanted part of the scene and mixing some other sounds( like music, voice) with the existing sound. While mixing the sound a am using the (+,-) control line in the time line section. I know there is a Windows->Sound Mixer control through which I can do the same job. But I am not able to find this control from Windows menu (or any other) option.
This Adobe Premiere came with my Sony Laptop.

Thanks crazycatz0 for your response,
I believe I tried all the menu, submenu option including window>workspace>audio but I am not getting the audio mixing screen.
Do I need to close any other window...or any other option I am missing. -
I am not sure but I believe the sound mixer is only on premiere pro. I am sure that there are other ways to adjust the sound levels though.

If the sound mixer is only available with Pro then I understand why it is not comming for me because mine is not a pro version. But my premiere help (comes with the application) talks about the sound mixer.
I am not too worried about this feature as I am already using the sound mixing using the (+,-) control line in the time line section. But this is very time consuming. I am thinking with sound mixer it may reduce my effort.
Thanks anyway. -
there is an audio mixer in the other versions of permeire. in 6.5 there is one for sure and thats how i acess it. in 6 there should be one as well, maybe it is hidden under other windows when you open at and just cant see it? how i open it in 6.5 is just, window>audio mixer and it pops up. try moving some other windows around, maybe it is hiding under one of them.

I moved all my windows to see whether ir is hiding or not. No way...
Actually I am not getting the "audio mixer" option under "windows" menu option. It looks strainge to me. -
